Explore the Vinschgau valley...

Cycling along Via Claudia Augusta is an enjoyable day out for the whole family. The cycle path circumnavigates Lake Reschen and Lake Haider, snaking through forests and meadows to Burgeis, past the Marienberg monastery and Fürstenburg, through the small villages of Schleis and Laatsch, straight through the medieval city of Glurns, to Prad (with its fishing lakes) and Tschengels, until the marble village Laas.

Continue through the splendiferous fruit orchards of the lower Vinschgau valley, particularly beautiful during the spring blossom season (April/May). An easy-going biking experience for the whole family.

Eventcard – train and bike

With the Vinschgau Railway Eventcard you can travel part of the route comfortably and economically by train, alight at one of the six stations, pick up a hire bike and cycle along one of the numerous cycle paths.

The Eventcard (€14.00) includes:

• a train ticket with hire bike and safety helmet
• for children up to the age of 6 travel is free of charge, bike obtainable at €5.00.
